I live with my wife Claire and two bengal cats (Tigerlily and Theo) in a small house full of soapmaking supplies and computer parts.  So far the cats don't seem inclined to help out with either endeavor, however.

My favorite hobbies include computer programming, bicycling, photography, and reading.  I particularly enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy novels.  Some of the authors I like best include L.E. Modessitt Jr., Janny Wurts, and Debra Doyle and James D. Macdonald.

Whenever I get the opportunity, I like to take more university classes.  My favorite subjects include Computer Science, Business Administration, Anthropology, and almost anything involving the study of systems of people or issues of sustainability.
